Nico Simpson

Nico uses his artistic skills and conceptual thinking to develop people’s ideas and to create and illustrate presentations. He studied at Stellenbosch University and has a doctoral degree in the field of adult education. He has written, co-written, illustrated and/or developed numerous courses and books. He does pottery and paintings in his free time. I am a concept artist and educator who creates safe spaces for people to grow and play, listen and care and believe in each other. As teacher I believe in the inherent potential and gifts of all people and try to help them grow into their full potential. I like to do bridge building between different generations. I teach people to have a backward-forward vision and repackage old truths for the future." For examples of his illustrations – see THIS website. Contact him at

Elsa Simpson

I see myself as an ordinary person helping ordinary people embracing their extra-ordinariness. Since I can remember, I was intrigued by other people’s stories. I never doubted that I would follow a career "listening to other people’s stories". I studied social work, specialised in medical and psychiatrist social work and worked in different hospitals. I also completed my Master's Degree in Supervision and Management. I had a long career in the Industrial Field doing counselling (EAPs - employee assistance programmes) and facilitating workshops on personal growth and development. She conducts workshops and team-builds as well as individual processes for personal growth and development in organisations as well as with private individuals. Contact her at

Dalene Crafford
I have always loved food. And I have always loved art. Luckily for me food is art!
Food is the one form of art which addresses all the senses… and it is also the medium that I use to express myself. I am passionate about my job as freelance food stylist (nothing beats the visual impact of beautifully presented food - view my portfolio at www.pixelfoundry.co.za/dalene/index.html), recipe developer, recipe column writer (I create recipes all the time – if not in the kitchen, then in my head) and food coach (to help someone discover the pleasures and value of good food, which is extremely gratifying). Dalene Crafford is a professional food stylist, recipe developer, cookery team-build presenter and developer of the Good Food Diet. Contact Dalene at
